Reflection

Yes I'm satisfied with the election. I think its time for changes and i think Obama will make good ones.I would keep the electoral vote because it is fair and it is faster to find out who will be president. I was really close, i didn't know what one state chose out of the candidates.
Yes the Gallup polls influenced me that Obama was going to win. I did the Gallup polls on age and gender and it showed that Obama was more popular.

Political Cartoon

This political cartoon is funny because the U.S. is happy that Obama is the new president. The cartoon also shows that Bush is not happy because everyone is glad that he is leaving and every thing he decided is going to change.

Reflection

I am satisfied with the election because Obama will make good changes and I think hes going to be a good president for the U.S.

I would keep the electoral college because I still think it works really well and it has for over 200 years. So why change it now?

I was 3 off from the map prediction I was pretty close. Things that changed were because of 3 states I didn't guess for Florida was one and 2 of the states I didn't color yet because they were still unsure.

No the gallup poll didn't influence my prediction because I did a gallup poll on age and then one on race and I didn't predict what age would make Obama president or what race would.

Gallup Poll

http://www.gallup.com/poll/108040/Candidate-Support-Race.aspx
This gallup poll represents what races vote for what president.
In the most recent vote the week of October 20-26th non Hispanic white most voted for McCain.
with 50% and Obama with 44%. Non Hispanic black most voted for Obama with 91% and McCain at 4% for that category. The Hispanic category voted most for Obama with 65% and McCain with 27%. This poll shows what each race votes for and it looks like if your the sam race as Obama most would vote for him. If your the same race is McCain most would vote for him. So that was the most recent vote.

John McCain tv ad

This is a John McCain tv ad about family. He's saying that he can support for your family better than Obama. Obama is highering taxes, more government spending so there will be fewer jobs. So how would you support your family is what John McCain is saying about Obama. McCain has an energy plan which is better to help families is what he thinks.

http://www.gallup.com/poll/108034/Candidate-Support-Age.aspx
This gallup poll represents the weekly votes for Obama and McCain from reigstered voters.
It shows that most voters in the age group of 18-29, 30-49, 50-64, 65 and older years of age prefer Obama than McCain in the week of October 20th to the 26th the most recent vote.
Some weeks most people in the 65 and older age group prefer McCain, but for now Obama is in the lead by the most recent gallup poll vote.
